The tear gland is of course responsible for tear production and so without it, Shelly was left with completely dry, inflamed, painful eyes and no way to stimulate tear production. PLEASE realize that if you choose to pursue a Rescue, you will NOT typically be in line for a young, healthy, uncomplicated dog.
